The Europa League match involving F91 Dudelange and FK Qarabag was delayed if a carrying what seemed like a political flag has been flown above the pitch.
The incident happened in the first half of the Group A game – that Qarabag won 4-1 – and also a delay of more than 15 minutes followed closely this drones appearance.
The drone has been carrying a flag seemed to be the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh, a landlocked separatist region within Azerbaijan.
Dudelange vowed to inquire into the event and issued a swift apology.

Its an increasingly independently-run enclave that came following a battle between the 2 countries in 1988 Even though the Nagorno-Karabakh area is recognised as part of Azerbaijan.
Qarabag were a team from town of Agdam in Nagorno-Karabakh, however they moved to Baku in 1993.
The war has never ended although both nations signed a ceasefire – in the region dozens were killed in 2016.
